For some reason, a lot of food in Taos just tastes better. Maybe that's because you've chilled out enough to really taste something good.

Even though Michael's Kitchen had the same type of "menu" as the Denny's franchise that was here, Michael's Kitchen offers excellent food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. The Denny's Restaurant just died because the food wasn't special and the service was deplorable..., and everyone was happy when they pulled out. The restaurants in Taos are going for "something else" and it is evident.
