De La Tierra
Image De La Tierra at El Monte Sagrado is by far the fanciest restaurant in Taos. De La Tierra is a completely luxurious restaurant in a completely luxury resort aque en Taos. If you can afford El Monte Sagrado, you will mostly likely fall in love with De La Tierra. Appetizers: La Tapa - the Chefs Daily Selection of Four Tapas, Chicken and Chorizo Tortilla Soup “De Colores”, Warm Spinach Salad - Wilted Spinach with a Warm Bacon Vinaigrette, Crispy Jamon Serrano and Gaufrette of Carrots, Spring Mix Green Salad - Spring Greens tossed with a Burnt Orange Vinaigrette, served with Oranges and Spicy Honey Peanuts, El Monte Caesar Salad - Hearts of Romaine tossed in a Traditional Caesar Dressing, Red Chile Croutons, White Anchovies and Poblano Pepper Pesto, Smoked Trout - House Smoked Rainbow Trout, served with Horseradish-Cognac Cream, Jicama, Sweet Pepper, Napa Cabbage Slaw and Whole Wheat Tortilla Crisp, Pork Tenderloin - Honey and Beer Marinated Pork Tenderloin, Flame Broiled, served with Green Chile Cheddar Grit Cake, Blue Corn Calamari - Flash Fried and served with Grilled Pineapple Salsa, Red Chile Aioli, Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette and Spicy Ketchup.
