Now Open One of the great new treats of Taos is Nicolas' Salads & Soups opened up recently by Annie & Jay Powell just south of Taos Plaza on the west side of the road across from McDonald's. Nicolas' Salads & Soups offers an All-You-Can-Eat salad & soup bar as well as sandwiches made to order. This is family style eating with terrific sandwiches and saleds, making Nicolas' Salads & Soups a great place for lunch or a very laid back dinner. Annie & Jay also operate the very successful Taos Diner in El Prado, just to the north of town. |

Taos Pizza Out Back is just a great place no matter where you are..., still it has a really pleasant and unique flavor that seems to be "All Taos." Taos Pizza Out Back features really great hand-rolled pizzas, home-made soups, hefty calzones, assorted fresh salads, kid's menue, wine & beer menu. Taos Pizza Out Back has been given the Best of Taos award since 1999, but it's been a really neat restaurant for a lot longer. Taos Pizza Out Back is open daily from 11am.
